Large corporations in CA ( FedEx, eBay, Google, Wal Mart, Staples etc ) have been testing over 18 month ( Google is first one ) a new device “The Bloom Box” that can generate power on the spot, without being connected to the electric grid. Will we have one in every home someday 5 to 10 years ? Lesley Stahl reports.
